I grew up amidst the stunning landscapes of Oregon and Idaho, where my deep-rooted love for the outdoors first blossomed. Seeking to immerse myself further in mountain life, I made the decision to attend Montana State University in Bozeman, MT, pursuing studies in chemical engineering. However, life had other plans for me.
Following a series of concussions and a pivotal rock climbing accident, where I was struck in the head by a rock the size of a toaster, my life took an unexpected turn. Despite working in my dream job in Calgary, I found myself struggling to thrive. It was then that I embarked on a journey to reclaim my health.
Navigating through consultations with various medical professionals, I eventually found myself under the care of a chiropractor. Through gentle adjustments focused on my atlas—the first bone in the neck—I experienced a remarkable shift in my well-being. The chronic headaches, brain fog, sleep disturbances, and depression that had plagued me began to dissipate, paving the way for a profound transformation in my life.
Inspired by the profound impact of my chiropractic care, I made the decision to leave behind my career, relocate to California, and enroll in chiropractic school. I attended Life Chiropractic College West where I graduated as valedictorian of my class, with clinical honors. In addition to my formal education, I have dedicated over 500 hours to extracurricular seminars, enriching my understanding of chiropractic philosophy, art, and science. During my preceptorship, I had the privilege of studying Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) under the guidance of one of the 21 BGI Masters in the world.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy climbing, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, cooking, reading, learning about health, and spending time with my husband and our two beloved pups.
